Here at East Boldon Infants, developing character education is woven into the work we do each day – it is at the heart of our school and our values.
We are really proud following a full day of assessments in July 2025 we were awarded the accreditation as an ACE “School of Character”.
The Association of Character Education kitemark is awarded to schools who can demonstrate they can take an explicit, planned and reflective approach to the cultivation of positive character qualities in their pupils.
Alongside the PHSCE curriculum, character education is captured and reinforced across school.
Half termly assemblies introduce and celebrate the work completed for each character.
